Makes my job easier and gives a sense of order to my day! I like the set up of the journal and plenty of room for all entries, including signature, date, type of document, type of ID presented, etc.

NOTARY JOURNAL Sep 13, 2009
By William B. Ponsot I have used this journal for a couple of years now. A journal is an essential tool for any Notary Public whether their state requires it or not, and having tried a couple besides this, has led me to re-ordering this one. It provide a clear and easy to follow layout, and placement of different elements is well done.
Included is an ink-less fingerprint pad for use in states that require a thumbprint.

Nice journal Dec 27, 2009
By Sandra Cromwell I like this journal better than my last because of the arrangement of the items. I do loan signings so I like that it makes it easy for me to enter the key points on the first line and just the documents and certificates on the rest. Nicely done.

Good investment Jan 12, 2011
By C. Bauman

This sturdy journal has a page for owner contact information, along with emergency information and notorial information (start and end dates, commission expiration, etc.) as well as a couple pages that explain how to fill out the entries. There is room for eight entries on each pages, for a total of 488 entries. Each entry has a spot for the follwing information: Notarization date & time, date on document, reference #, fee amount and whether it was paid; check boxes to select what kind of documents were notarized and whether it was an acknowledgement or jurat or certified copy, as well as a box for adding any additional information; notes; printed name and contact information of the signer; method of identification, including several check boxes listing typical choices, and two boxes to reference each form of identification (number, expiration, etc); a signature box and a box for the thumbprint. The very last page of the journal is for concluding instruction- what to do in the event of the death of the notary to whom the journal belongs.
